An Ode To Shobha De

An Ode to Shobha de

Here is a girl called Shobha de
She came, she saw, she wrote,
And she dazzled.
She stood on her shining pedestal
Like a modern day venus
Gazing over and lapping up
Her inumerable fans and foes,
They were blue eyed green horns
And seasoned go getters
She enticed them , embraced them
compelled them to recognize
Her as true and blue blooded
Unthroned queen of glitteratty
With the beautiful hands of Gold
Unleashing  upon them
glamour and dreams so glitzy.
She had her low moments
which she dumped deep with elan
And chiseled out her high moments
And turned them in  gold.
making them sizzling and sensetional.
Wonder what she is up now
As she is getting bit of veteran.
But when I saw her on the tube,
Found her with her old fire
Stead fast with a pinch of ire
Standing here glittering there
As beautiful as a golden mare
Though didn't born with a silver spoon
The way She carried her pen
caused people to swoon
Mannequin of yesteryear, scene she ruled
But sleaze and vanity she just overruled.
Woman of words and person of letters
To lot of prying ones she gave jitters
Shobha de, who made her hay
When her star was shining
Refused to budge and carried a torch
With vengeance and venom
to deal with the scorch
she created with her intellectual blitz
True old lady with masterly craft
But hammered at grift and nasty graft.
The lovely lady of the house
With passel of sweetie pies
Making her hearth a heaven
For her big oldboy of hers
Making it all myth and lies
That he is  a just a coy
As he is her true master,
her guy forever.

Oh! not again. Indian hockey DEBACLE !

So guys India has again done it! Got itself out of championship (world-cup) by playing some bad and silly hockey. What are the woes of Indian hockey. well following is the list.
1) India is still not out of its age old art of dribbling. when world has discarded dribbling altogether Indians are still clinging to it. Dribbling is totally useless in today's fast and furious type of hockey.
2) Indians have not developed art of quick short and medium passing, while world has gone ahead by adopting to new way of hockey India is still groping withthe new form of hockey.
3) There were no brilliant formations or moves coming forth and frontline attack was individualistic rather than a team effort.
4) Snatching was poor and shoddy. Successes in snatching away the ball were rare and ugly to watch.
5) It seems that Indians have forgotten an art of making a field goal they have become so rare.
6) Indian hockey is in big trouble if it is to be salvaged every thing has to be changed and everybody connected to it's present set-up has to be shifted away from it. Mr IPS Gill has to be given free kick at the earliest.
